Carry started as a personal problem.

Moe Sanni — founder of Digital Square, a marketing agency working across clients, teams, and industries — was drowning. Not in work itself, but in the weight of holding it all. There were things in Notion, reminders in the Notes app, follow-ups living rent-free in his head at 11pm.

The productivity tools existed. He'd tried them. But they all asked something of him before they gave anything back. Notion needed organising. The Notes app took thoughts but didn't move them anywhere.

What he needed was somewhere to just dump it — and trust it would be handled. Something that would carry the weight so his mind didn't have to.

So he built it.

Calm is success

We don't measure success by how many things you complete. We measure it by how much lighter you feel. If Carry reduces your mental load, it's working.

The tool should serve you, not the other way around

You shouldn't have to learn a tool, organise inside it, or maintain it to get value. Carry should be ready when you need it — and invisible when you don't.

Silence is acceptable

Not every app needs to notify you. Not every screen needs a number demanding action. Carry is designed to be quiet unless it has something worth saying.

Delegation should feel lighter, not heavier

Handing something to a team member should relieve pressure, not create a new job of tracking and chasing. Carry handles that part so you don't have to.

Getting started

How do I add something to Carry? +
Open the app and tap the input field on the Home screen. Type whatever is on your mind — a sentence, a thought, a half-formed idea. No formatting needed. Carry holds it as-is.
Do I need to set anything up? +
No. Download the app, create an account, and start writing. Carry works immediately. Work windows and quiet hours are optional — configure them when you're ready.
What's the difference between Home and Today? +
Home is your brain dump — the place to add new things. Today is your focused view: your top priorities and what you're waiting on from others.

Delegation

How do I delegate to a team member? +
When adding something to Carry, tag a team member. Carry will notify them, provide context, and follow up until it's done. You can view everything delegated in the Delegation tab.
What happens if a delegated item isn't moving? +
Carry flags it as "At Risk" and gives you the option to Nudge or Reschedule. You don't have to chase manually — Carry handles it for you.
Is delegation on the free plan? +
No. Team delegation is available on the Founder + Team paid plan only. The free Solo plan is for individual use.

Account & billing

How do I upgrade to Founder + Team? +
Go to Settings → Plan → Upgrade. Your existing data and settings are preserved.
How do I cancel my subscription? +
Go to Settings → Plan → Manage Subscription. Cancel anytime. You'll revert to the free Solo plan and your data stays intact.
I was charged but can't access my features. +
Email [email protected] and we'll resolve it the same business day.
How do I delete my account? +
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
What happens if I cancel? +
You keep all your data. Nothing is locked away or deleted when you cancel. You revert to the free Solo plan and can continue using Carry.
How many people can I add on the $29 plan? +
Up to 5 team members are included in the $29/month plan. You can add more for $5/month per additional person.
Do my team members have to pay? +
No. You as the founder pay one subscription that covers your whole team. Team members do not pay anything individually.
What happens if I add more than 5 people? +
You'll be prompted to approve a $5/month add-on for each additional team member. Your subscription will be updated automatically.

Team & delegation

Where do my dumped items go? +
Anything you dump always lands somewhere visible — Inbox, Today, or Delegation. Carry never lets things disappear.
Will my team get spammed with notifications? +
No. Carry only notifies people when something actually matters — assignments, deadlines, or nudges. We are deliberately low-noise.
Can my team delegate tasks too? +
By default, only the Founder can delegate. You can optionally grant delegation permission to specific team members in Settings.
What if my team doesn't use Carry yet? +
You can still plan and delegate internally. When they join, they'll see their assigned items immediately — nothing is lost in the meantime.
Do my team members have to pay? +
No. You pay one subscription that covers your whole team. Team members access Carry for free under your plan.

1. Who we are

Digital Square Inc. operates the Carry mobile application. For privacy enquiries, contact us at [email protected].

2. What data we collect

Data you provide directly

  • Account information: name and email address when you register
  • Content you enter: notes, delegations, and any text you type into Carry
  • Team information: names and contact details of team members you add
  • Payment information: processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store card details

Data collected automatically

  • Device information: device type, OS version, app version
  • Usage data: which features you use, frequency, crash reports
  • Notification interaction data

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and improve the Carry service
  • To send delegation notifications to your team members on your behalf
  • To process your subscription and manage billing
  • To send app-related communications (updates, important notices)
  • To diagnose bugs and improve performance

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Who we share data with

We share data only with trusted service providers required to operate Carry, including cloud hosting, payment processing, and analytics. All providers are contractually bound to protect your data. We do not share data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your rights (Canada — PIPEDA)

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, email [email protected].

7. Data security

We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

8. Children's privacy

Carry is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.

Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Carry, operated by Digital Square Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), incorporated in Canada. By creating an account or using Carry, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Carry is a mental load management application available on iOS and Android. Features vary by plan as described on our Pricing page.

2. Account registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You must be at least 13 years of age to use Carry.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Carry to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Harass, threaten, or harm others
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the service
  • Access another user's account without authorisation
  • Reverse engineer or copy the application

4. Subscription and billing

The Solo plan is free with no time limit. The Founder + Team plan is billed monthly at $29/month. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you enter into Carry. By using the app, you grant Digital Square Inc. a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service.

6. Team members and delegation

By adding team members to Carry, you confirm you have their consent to receive notifications from the app on your behalf.

7. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime beyond our reasonable control.

8. Termination

We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data is deleted within 30 days.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Canadian law, Digital Square Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
